Field Notes:
Guiding Young Global Citizens

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
-Marcel Proust
Every traveler knows that a quality travel guide is essential to a successful journey. These resources help me to reimagine and rethink my classroom on a regular basis so that it stays relevant for both me and my students.
I would never just show up in a new place and allow the winds to take me because I would miss out on the best sites, events, and opportunities the place has to offer. These resources serve as my tools and references to ensure that our classroom journey is robust, interesting, full of academic adventures. I used the classroom management and instructional strategy resources to cultivate a dynamic classroom that meets the needs of each and every student. The lesson planning resources help me to ensure that the content is vibrant, relevant, and challenging. As travelers in the 21st Century, students need to be masters of technology so I use many such tools in the classroom
to provide immediate feedback, individualized lessons, and add a spark of fun to our journey.
